DURBAN Kevin Shai addressed the public scandal surrounding his marriage in a Facebook Live on Sunday, 16 August 2026, days after a private bedroom video of his wife, Matshidiso Matilda, and social media personality Limpopo Boy was leaked online.
Speaking from his home in a calm and measured tone, Shai confirmed that while he has chosen to forgive his wife, their marriage has come to an end.
“He’s a good person, maybe. I don’t know”
In the nearly 20-minute live session, Shai spoke candidly about the betrayal, the man involved, and what comes next for him.
Referring to Limpopo Boy, Shai said: _”He’s a good person, maybe, I don’t know.”_ He went on to acknowledge that the situation had caused deep hurt, but said he did not want to respond with anger.
The biggest announcement came when Shai addressed his wife directly.
“I forgive Matshidiso,” he said. “But we are done. The marriage is over.”
He did not go into graphic details about the leaked video, which began circulating online last week and quickly went viral across X and Facebook.
