Cyan Boujee, whose real name is Honour Zuma Zacn, is a South African DJ, social media influencer, YouTuber, makeup artist and dancer.
She was born on 25 August 2001 in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. She is known professionally as Cyan Boujee and also as Sesi Cyan. As of 2026 she is 24 years old. Her genres are mainly Amapiano and she has been active since 2019.
She was born and raised in Johannesburg in a private family. Her parents are known publicly only as Mr. and Mrs. Zuma and she has kept details about her siblings private.
She was raised in Mamelodi in a strict but supportive household. She has described her father as a disciplinarian and her mother as her biggest emotional support.
She attended local primary and secondary schools in Gauteng. After matric, she enrolled to study Mass Media at a South African university because of her early passion for beauty and television.
In September 2024, she posted photos of herself on a private jet with former President Jacob Zuma and referred to him as her grandfather. The post went viral. The Zuma family has not publicly confirmed the relationship.
Her career started with makeup, not music. Around 2019 she began posting makeup tutorials, beauty transformations and fashion hauls on Instagram.
Her bold looks and confident personality quickly set her apart. In December 2019 she officially launched her YouTube channel. Her early content included makeup tutorials, product reviews, vlogs, fashion lookbooks and Q&A videos. The channel grew because she combined beauty skills with storytelling about relationships and self-esteem.
She later expanded to TikTok where her dance videos, lip-syncs and comedic skits brought her a much wider audience. On TikTok she became known as Sesi Cyan, a relatable big sister figure.
While beauty made her popular, DJing made her a household name. She taught herself to DJ and started taking bookings at clubs, private events and festivals across Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.
She specializes in Amapiano and became a regular on festive season lineups. She once said in an interview, “I would still be famous without the drama. I’ve always wanted to be on TV.”
Her influence turned into serious business. She has worked as ambassador for Fashion Nova Curve, Clere skincare, Umbrobo, Limits and All Brand Sneakers.
In an interview she revealed she once charged R280,000 for a single Instagram post. Her estimated net worth as of 2025-2026 is between $800,000 to $1 million, coming from DJ gigs, YouTube, sponsored posts and club appearances.
Beyond glam, she founded the Reaching Out Foundation, an NGO that helps underprivileged communities with food parcels, clothing donations and mentorship for young girls.
Her personal life has been very public. She previously dated Amapiano superstar DJ Maphorisa, graphic designer Pro, and Bamzy Riches, and was rumored to be with Prince Kaybee and Blaq Diamond’s Ndu Browns.
In December 2024 she told fans she was single and in August 2025 she denied dating Ndu Browns.
In 2022 she spoke openly on Podcast and Chill with MacG about having a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) and said being bullied about her body in high school played a part in her decision.
In 2023 she was involved in a major scandal when a private intimate video leaked. She said it was recorded when she was 19 and accused fellow DJ Prince Kaybee of leaking it. Her manager said she suffered severe emotional stress.
As of 2026, Cyan Boujee continues to work as a full-time DJ, influencer and content creator. She performs weekly, creates daily content on Instagram and TikTok, and lists Turkey and Dubai as her favorite travel destinations.
She represents a new generation of South African entertainers built entirely on social media, who turned makeup brushes into DJ decks and followers into a business empire.
Cyan Boujee recently social media picture has caused a stir about her BBL.
