Ali Mgube with his fiancée Thobisile Ngubane. LEGENDARY musician Ali Mgube is off the market.

The 51-year-old musician from eMatimatolo, KZN, will marry his lover of 25 years, Thobisile Ngubane.
Ali has been in the music industry for over 24 years. Their traditional wedding (Umgcagco), set to be one of the biggest traditional weddings, will be held at ali’s home on Saturday, 21 September.
The musician, who is leader and founder of legendary maskandi groups AmaSAP and 10111 Omaqondana, also has a solo project called Igeza lakwaMgube.

He revealed the list of top maskandi stars who will be his groom mates. These include top maskandi stars Mthandeni Manqele, Ntencane, and Shwi, among others.
The Uyangizonda hitmaker told Daily Sun Thobisile has showed him true love.
“She has patiently been with me through thick and thin. I’m a lucky man to get someone who loves me the way she does.

When I met her, I was like the one who didn’t have a home. She allowed me to build my home first and started doing all things before we get married,” he said.
Ali said he’s happy he’s getting married on the top of the good foundation of their love as he has a better home to stay in KZN.
“I took 25 years to fix all my problems, including building my home and doing other things that needed my attention. I paid lobola for her a long time ago, and I’m thankful she didn’t put me under pressure to marry her. She was with me all the time,” he said.
On Sunday, 22 September, the maskandi industry will have two traditional weddings as Khuzani’s dancer Thibela will also have a traditional wedding at his home in Nkandla.
Ali wished Thibela well and applauded him for taking the decision to get married.
“I like what Thibela is doing because these days young boys don’t think of getting married even though they are financially stable,” he said.
