Chiefs could loan out Christian Saile

Kaizer Chiefs striker Christian Saile could be on his way out at the club before the 2024/25 season starts.

According to The South African, Kaizer Chiefs are looking to loan out Christian Saile in order to pave way for new foreign players.

The 24-year-old has been a regular start under Arthur Zwane, Molefi Ntseki and Cavin Johnson. However, it looks like his time at the Glamour Boys might have come to an end.

Nasreddine Nabi and his technical team joined Amakhosi camp not so long ago, however, they got time to monitor players which they were still in Turkey for pre-season preparation.

A source revealed that the new Kaizer Chiefs technical team identified a number of positions their should strengthen before the June transfer window closes. The attacking department is one of the areas they feel they should be focusing more on.

Despite being a regular starter since his arrival at Amakhosi, Christian Saileʼs performance at the club has not really been convincing. Since his arrival at Kaizer Chiefs, the 24-year-old has played 50 games, however, he has contributed only in eleven games, scoring seven goals and also registering four assists.

Kaizer Chiefs have already been linked with the DR Congo in-form striker Fiston Mayele and also the Stellenbosch fc striker Iqraam Ryners.

Nothing solid as yet between Kaizer Chiefs and Pyramids fc over Fiston Mayele. The Egyptian giants made it clear that they are looking to pocket nothing less than R20 Million for Mayele.

Christian Saile is not the only player who is linked with a move away from the club. Sabelo Radebe, Mduduzi Mdantsane and Wandile Duba have also been linked with loan moves before the June transfer window closes.

Mduduzi Mdantsane is currently nursing his injuries after being involved in a car accident and is not expected to return to the field anytime soon. Loaning the player out would not be an easy task for Kaizer Chiefs.

No club in Betway Premiership or abroad has shown interest or made any enquiry about Christian Saile at the moment. However, Amakhosi are also interested in the Supersport united midfielder Grant Margerman. They could consider loaning out Christian Saile in order to sweeten up their deal with Supersport united.

A source further stated that the club could be in a tight position if Ashley Du Preez ends up leaving the club as there has been rumours about the player leaving for a Portuguese club, however, Kaizer Chiefs want R30 Million for their striker.

Releasing Ashley Du Preez and Christian Saile at the same time would be a suicidal move for the club, which is why they are waiting to see the progress of Ashley Du Preezʼs move to Europe before releasing Saile on a loan deal.

Christian Saile only joined Kaizer Chiefs at the beginning of 2023 from the Zambian side, Nchanga Rangers F.C for a fee which is close to R8 Million.

The 24-year-old play as a striker, however, at Kaizer Chiefs he has been used mostly as a winger as he is a player who has speed.

Betway Premiership will resume at the beginning of September and Kaizer Chiefs will take on Marumo Gallants.
