He will be looking to revive his football career in the KwaZulu-Natal based side and hopefully help them gain promotion to the National First Division (NFD) next year.
Siphelele Ntshangase has been labeled as one of the best Central midfielders in South Africa over the past years, being hyped to join Kaizer Chiefs by the supporters. However, things just went South for the player.
Siphelele Ntshangaseʼs position in the field
The 31-year-old plays as a central midfielder, however, he can play as an attacking midfielder and also as a defensive midfielder.
The midfield can do wonders in the central midfield, which is why he was targeted for Kaizer Chiefs for many years. The club ended up signing him, however, he left the Soweto based side due to lack of game-time.
Siphelele Ntshangaseʼs background
The talented midfielder was born and raised in one of the rural areas in KwaZulu-Natal, which is called Phongolo. He was born on the 11th of May 1993.
He joined Black Leopards in July 2013, which is just over 10 years ago. He gained a lot of fame at Lidoda Duvha. Siphelele Ntshangase wore the famous number 10 jersey at the club and was also the captain.
The 31-year-old was then linked with a move to Amakhosi for many years, however, he ended up joining Baroka fc few years later.
Siphelele Ntshangase joining Baroka fc frustrated Amakhosi supporters and the club ended up buying him from Baroka just six months later after joining Baroka.
He was officially announced as the Kaizer Chiefs new player back in January 2018. His stay at Amakhosi did not last that long though as the player failed to meet the expectations.
When he left Kaizer Chiefs back in 2021, there were many rumours about the player stating that he has a bad attitude and also has a drinking problem.
Siphelele Ntshangase asked to be released by Kaizer Chiefs due to lack of game-time. The club then decided to terminate his contract on the 21st of March 2021.
The talented midfielder left Amakhosi after making 38 appearances for the club, failing to register a single goal in those appearances.
After parting ways with Kaizer Chiefs, Siphelele Ntshangase joined Marumo Gallants on a free transfer. The club however released him a year later.
Being released by Marumo Gallants left Ntshangase club-less for six months. Fortunately, he rejoined his former side, Black Leopards early in January 2023.
His return to Black Leopards only lasted for four months, the club released him in April 2023.
He is now on a verge of reviving his football career at the ABC Motsepe League side.
